Late fee for renewing city alcohol licenses and limited park sales.

Watch for future council or staff decisions that spell out the limits for park alcohol sales (which events, where, hours, staffing, and enforcement).

Council voted 6-2 to add a $50 late fee if alcohol license renewals come in after May 1. The same ordinance also lets city staff sell beer and wine coolers in parks and beach areas during special events, on a limited basis.
