Final PFOS/PFOA sampling results submitted in July and any follow-up requirements from WDNR, including whether a PFAS minimization plan is ordered.

Typically discussed at Plan Commission. Check back when the next agenda is published.

The city is running PFOS/PFOA wastewater sampling required by its state discharge permit, with results due in July. Staff said the numbers they’re seeing are around 126 versus an anticipated limit of 140, and they expect the landfill to test high enough to be a major source. Depending on the final results, the city may have to write a PFAS minimization plan.
