City Council voted to end TIF districts 13 and 16 early, with their tax value returning to the regular tax rolls starting Jan. 1, 2027. A few weeks later, council also approved two TIF-funded facade grants: $17,536 for Cool City Motel and $10,000 for Lighthouse Inn.
