Council voted 6-0 to end TIF districts 13 and 16, and said the tax-base growth in those areas will start flowing back to regular tax rolls in 2027. A few weeks later, council also approved two TIF-backed facade grants: $17,536 for Cool City Motel doors/locks and $10,000 for Lighthouse Inn lighting/signage.
