The Advisory Recreation Board’s Feb. 11 update put Neshotah Beach improvements on a near-term track: a City Council borrowing vote expected Feb. 26, then bids and an early-April go/no-go after cost estimates and survey feedback. In the same round of updates, staff reported signed paperwork for Paddlers Park improvements funded 50/50 by city capital dollars and a Wisconsin Coastal Management grant.

    Motion to approve Pet Cemetery action item: Approved a 4x4 plot size (allowing up to four cremation burials per plot). Fees established as follows: $200 per plot, $200 for opening/closing, and $250 for a flush grass marker with engraving. No irrigation will be provided, and only imitation flowers will be permitted.
