The City Council has signed off on two separate DNR grant applications: $100,000 to replace the Mariners Trail split-rail fence, and another for Washington Park shoreline restoration. The fence application includes a stated $25,000 match the city says won’t require new property taxes, using in-kind labor and a partner.
