Business and Industrial Development Committee
Same membership as the Community Development Authority. Meets at the same time. Advises the city council, city manager, and plan commission on industrial development. Promotes the city's industrial advantages, collects data on suitable industries, encourages proper zoning and industrialization, supports attracting new industries, assists businesses with community problems, and recommends the use of city-owned properties for industrial purposes.
